Spring is here, and it is time to make plans to attend the 80th SIEC/ISBE Conference in Waterford, Ireland, from July 27 to August 1, 2008. The Planning Committee has done a great job and all that is needed to make it complete is YOU!

In addition to the seminars and presentations, this year's convention includes a first time attendees meeting, a guided city walk, a visit to Waterford Crystal and other businesses, and a pub crawl!

If you don't want to travel alone, take someone along. The program for "accompanying persons" includes a visit to Kilkenny Castle, Nicholas Moss Pottery, and Kennedy Gardens. As long as you are in Ireland, why not stay for the post-conference tour to Dublin (August 4-6). Pre-conference tours have also been planned. Complete information regarding the conference including registration, accommodations forms, and pre-and post-conference tours is available on the SIEC website (www.siec-isbe.org).

The registration fee includes most meals during the conference and the cost of cultural activities.

See you in Ireland!
